Published Targets said to be Challenging

With increased targets announced last week, Producer Compliance Schemes this week have said that the increase in fees could not come soon enough in order to assist meeting the new higher targets.

Although the schemes have questioned if the targets proposed are achievable, it is needed to ensure that the UK meets EU recycling targets. The targets have been missed in the past couple of years.
