At GAP Organics, we believe that staying up to date with the latest practices in sustainability is crucial for both our company and our staff. To maintain this, some of our new team members had the opportunity to tour the Wardley Biogas site in Gateshead.
A Tour of Innovation.
The Wardley Biogas plant is a remarkable facility with an impressive annual processing capacity of 80,000 tonnes. It generates over 600m³/hour of biomethane, which is injected into the National Grid. Additionally, the plant produces approximately 72,000 tonnes of high-quality biofertilizer each year.
Fostering Growth and Empowerment
The tour was designed to foster growth among our team members. By exposing them to such innovative technologies, we empower them to stay informed about the latest industry advancements. This exposure not only deepens their understanding of sustainable practices but also reinforces our commitment to sustainability as a core value at GAP Organics.
Commitment to Sustainability
We recognize the importance of continuously educating our staff about sustainability. The tour of the Wardley Biogas site is just one example of how GAP Organics is dedicated to the ongoing education and development of our staff. By staying informed about the latest advancements in sustainability, we can better serve our clients and contribute to a greener future.
